Sorry, i accidentally pressed save.
I have R500 and VSZ 3.4.1.0.208.
The right firmware in order for the AP to work with the VSZ is 3.4.1.0.329. However, i mistakenly update firmware which i believe to be Unleshed ( firmware R500_200.6.10.1.312.bl7).

I have pressed the reset button for 20 seconds but the AP still broadcast configure.meXXXX and i can't access to unleshed.ruckus.com or https://192.168.0.1.

is there any other way to reset the AP?.
If possible can show me which download file for the firmware 3.4.1.0.329.

thank you

Hi Mohd,

AP does not broadcast the configure.me SSID always, it only broadcast it when you are configuring the master AP in the network. The moment you will get done with the configuration of the unleashed setup then you will not get any configure me SSID.

Since you have done the factory reset, the AP is in setup mode.

You can access the AP by connecting the AP to the Configure.me SSID and access unleashed.ruckuswireless.com. Or connect through the LAN and access 192.168.2.1.

The whole process is mentioned on the below link.

Hi Mohd,

Please have it connect to POE switch or a power injector and try to assign an static IP to your PC from 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, then try to ping the AP's default IP 192.168.0.1 if you get any response please go to browser and type the AP's default IP now you should have access to the AP's web interface.

Once you have regained the access to the AP's web interface please upgrade the AP with AP's standalone software please use the link below,

https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/1017-zoneflex-solo-access-point-104-0-0-0-1347-ga-softwa...

Once the AP is added on the vSZ (using option43/dns/l2 discovery/set director/scg ip <vscg ip>) the AP should join the vSZ and upgrade itself to 3.4.x version.

I don't have vSZ on 3.4 version, else I would have given the 3.4.x firmware please try to reach out to support if you have any challenges they would be glad to help you.

Please use this URL from your PC via browser when you have connectivity to vSZ, you should be able to download the firmware from vSZ, not sure if it works now or not.

Thank you.

Hope it helps!!!!

Abilash PR.
