Hi, I am a customer that has two sites connected over ruckus wireless.
On one site we have VoIP gateway (Cisco2901) on other site Cisco VoIP phones.
Connection between two sites is over Ruckus zf7762 (5GHz Root AP) and zf7962 (5GHz Mesh). The experience is not so good. VoIP in that configuration is not so stable. Even with all other networks disconnected we experience the voice disturbance and bad service. Is there any QoS that we can use. Other services work perfectly.

Are there VOIP phones local to the gateway? If so, how is the performance there?

Is ping response stable across the mesh links? Did you turn on rate limiting, change multicast conversion or any other changes (esp CLI changes?)

What version of ZoneFlex is running? A great many VOIP fixes went into 9.5.3 and 9.6.2

VoIP phones in local network are working OK. That is in the local LAN. Both phone and VoIP gateway are on the same switch (cisco 2960 PoE) same as the Ruckus zf7762. On the ruskus there are 3 VLAN-s (WLAN) (Office, Guest and VoIP). The Office and Guest WLAN are on low priority and VoIP is on high priority.
Ruckus software is 9.5.0.0 build 156. Zone director is 1100.
On the premises we have zf7962 with one port configured as untagged VLAN for VoIP. it is connected to non managed PoE switch as long as Cisco VoIP phones.

This is a picture of connection.

As a first step I will check for the new software but on the check for update it reply "Your software is up-to-date. There is no update at this time." last time.

For the test we put only VoIP VLAN on the mesh root AP (zf7762) and the problem continued. The ping is stable. All other VLAN-s are working OK but probably it is about VoIP sensitivity. No change except changing priority high to low for other VLANS has not been made.

Thanks for the quick response.

One of the bugs in 9.5.0 is that it doesnt tell you there is new software :) It was not our proudest release and I do recommend 9.5.3 which you can find on the support website. 9.7 is the most recent release, but 9.5.3 is a better target for you.

There may be other tuning required once you do the upgrade, but we need to start from a stable base. After the upgrade if you are still seeing issues I would recommend opening a support case.

Ok. I have made upgrade but still no progress. Only tweak I have made is to set VoIP wlan to high priority and others to low priority.

What else I should do?
