Hello everyone!
This is a post for Ruckus mainly.
The rules for Ukraine regulatory domain in 5 GHz 802.11ac are not equal to our regulatory law and channel plans!
This is a very big issue, our client, national telecom operator install and operate use APs legally and take advantage of 802.11ac performance.
Now, in vSZ-H with selecting Ukraine as a regulatory domain 802.11ac performance is turned off. Only 20/40 MHz channels with 64 QAM are available.
Here is the info about allowed channels and channel width in Ukraine for 802.11ac according to UNII-1, UNII-2, UNII-3:
20 Mhz Channels: 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 132, 149, 153, 157, 161, 165
40 Mhz Channels: 38, 46, 54, 62, 102, 110, 118, 126, 151, 159
80 Mhz Channels: 42, 58, 106, 122, 155
160 Mhz Channel: 50, 114
Allowed modulations:
BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, 256QAM
EIRP = 100mW
Indoor use only
Can someone make an urgent update to the vSZ-H or can we make it by ourselves with some script?

Hello,
Ukraine’s 5.6GHz band is limited. It is...
5470-5670 MHz, 100mW.
So it looks like you can do the Channel 114 for 160 MHz and Channels 106 and 122 for 80MHz. But we cannot do Channel 138 for 80MHz.

Michael, above is my translation of NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR THE STATE REGULATION OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATIZATION decision dated 20 oct. 2015. It is official and telecom providers have operate according to this document.
According to this document, the allowed frequincies are:
5150-5350
But any of Ruckus controllers or even standalone firmwares cannot work in 80 MHz with Ukrainian reg. domain. And vSZ does not allow 802.11ac for Ukraine. So, all Ruckus ac access points are useless and operate in 802.11n. We cannot build our wireless networks legally because the preset channel plan is not equal to real legal channel plan.

I filed the bug ER-4907 and DE has resolved this for upcoming SZ 3.5 GA release, and possibly
a patch for SZ 3.4.1.
20Mhz, 40Mhz, 80Mhz wide channels are supported, however, the decision is made not to include
channel 132 for Ukraine, so 40Mhz and 80Mhz wide channels cannot overlap 132, 136, 140, 144.
Channel plan includes: 36,40,44,48,52,56,60,64,100,104,108,112,116,120,124,128,149,153,157,161,165.
Regulated Power: 18dBm channels 36 - 48
23dBm channels 52 - 64
20dBm channels 112 - 165
VHT20 channels: 36,40,44,48,52,56,60,100,104,108,112,116,120,124,128,149,153,157,161,165
VHT40 channels: 36,40,44,52,56,60,100,104,108,112,116,120,124,149,153,157,161
VHT80 channels: 36,40,44,48,52,56,60,64,100,104,108,112,116,120,124,128,149,153,157,161

Dear Michael!
Thank you!
Can your team also make a patch resolving this issue to a recommended release version? 3.2.1.0.253 (MR Patch4)
My client uses this release in production (because it is recommended by Ruckus at support page)
Why not to include 132 channel and allow only 20 MHz for it like 165 channel? It is allowed in appropriate legal act

And according to legal act, EIRP should be less or equal 100 mWt ( 20dBm) on all channels.

Dear Colleagues!
Please, pay attention that the same issue appears in ZoneDirector, Unleashed and standalone firmware.

I have tested 2 different versions of vSZ-H:
1. Production controller at provider side
Controller Version
3.2.1.0.253
AP Firmware Version
3.2.1.0.695
2. Test controller at office lab:
Controller Version
3.4.1.0.208
AP Firmware Version
3.4.1.0.329
The results are the same for Ukraine reg domain.
