Status of ZD1200 and support lifetime

Just curious if there is a current document describing the status of ZD1200 and its support lifetime?

Targets are uncertain but I do believe we are planning a higher performance ZD1200 model, but some ways off.

I am being offered a 5 year service contract on my existing ZD1200 that is already 5 years old. Just trying to get a feeling if there is a official supported lifetime documented somewhere? It is hard to tell via the new website if it is even still for sale?

Hi Brian,

ZD1200 is still on sale and is not an EOL device yet.

Purchasing 5 year service contract means you will receive below benefits.
  • Premium access to Ruckus support portal, firmware download, document, articles, etc.
  • Advance replacement, in case of hardware failure.
  • 24*7 support for product (hardware/software/feature) related issues/queries.
  • Eligibility for new firmware downloads and controller upgrade.

Hi Brian,

Pardon for website confusion. But support.ruckuswireless.com hasn't changed and you can find all products we support or EoSL there.

We are selling ZD1200 today / is not End of Sale yet. Pl refer to the support policy document at https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000001322. Once EoS announced 6+60 months of support time period available.
