not working SCI v5.1.1 after a setting which dhcp ip to static ip

Hi.

I tried to deploy latest SCI v5.1.1 for DEMO.

I notice that after I completed initial seup complete with dhcp ip, if I re-configured dhcp ip to static ip, I can't see properly login page.

In this problem, SCI show me "500 Internal Server Error".

Is it a intended or a bug?

If it's a intended work, should he fresh-install again when he installed SCI with dhcp ip by mistake?

Yes, it would be easier to do a fresh install with static IP.

Some our partner was very confused and afraid about a change of IP due to inaccessable.

I am looking forward to the next release or futher release.

I have had a same case.
So I reinstalled SCI.
By the way, How can i back up DB of SCI
and how can I restore db on new SCI sever.
Do you have a procedure document?

Hi,

For backup, I would strongly recommend taking a VM snapshot. That would be the easiest and avoid all the complexities of restoring data in a new server.

Could Ruckus provide backup method at futher release?

You will need a backup and restore method for the migration when you go someday.

Our recommendation is to take a VM snapshot. That is still the surest and easiest way to do a backup and restore.
