Hello Rosa Martínez Martin,

Starting firmware version 9.3 - ZoneFlex7363 and ZoneFlex7762 can support max upto 256 clients. Please note: 256 is for open WLAN with no security and numbers would reduce if encryption is enabled.

for more info - refer PDF page 6 to https://support.ruckuswireless.com/do...

Increased Number of Clients Supported:

With 9.3 release, certain ZoneFlex 802.11n Access Points can associate up to 256 clients, distributed across either radio or all on a single radio.

This feature can enable 3G network carriers to offload the data traffic from a larger number of clients to higher-speed Wi-Fi networks.

Customer Benefits:
• Increased scalability for high-density environments (eg. auditoriums, transportation hubs, ...)
• Improves mobile subscriber Internet experience

Availability ZoneFlex 802.11n Access Points (7300 Series, 7962, 7762, 7762-S, 7762-T, 7761-CM,) with software release 9.3

WPA isn't recommended. Max usable clients with WPA or WEP will probably be no more than 50 on moderately loaded network. Use WPA2 or nothing at all.

Maybe this links will help somewhat

From personal in-field experience in a outdoor 7762-s mesh environment, we've seen that between 28 to 35 clients per AP is a safe bet (performance and latency) wise. This is obviously dependent on certain environmental factors and little interference (physical, rogue, frequency, etc) in your mesh environment.

On a multiple WLAN setup (on the same AP), with one encrypted and having only 5 clients max, and the other one open, how many clients would I be able to get in the open one?

R300 has lower specs, so it should be the same numbers as the 7363/7962.

R500/R600/R700 should be the same as the 7982/7372 numbers listed above.
