I'm getting the error invalid input when trying to create ve interface. Is there any changes in command for creating this ve interface? or need to enable certain features first. please help me.

You also need at least one port in the vlan.
Example:
conf t
vlan 10
untagged eth 1/1/1
router-interface ve 10
interface ve 10
ip address x.x.x.x/x

It was answered in your other thread about this topic - you are running a layer 2 firmware on that 6610. You need the layer 3 firmware to allow the layer 3 interface.
Example filename for routing firmware: SWR08030h.bin (the 'R' in the 3rd position indicates routing)

I've got the same issue. Using a legacy layer 3 switch GFS648POE. configuration guide says it should be capable of layer 3 ip routing between vlans, but none of the layer three base level commands seem to work. The unit was purchased surplus with 7.2.02g firmware on it. What do I need to make it layer 3 aware?
