AP 2942, after assigning vlan in port 1, i cannot access web UI

im having troubles accessing ruckus AP 2942 after I assign a VLAN on the management and tagged port 1.

i can ping the AP, but i cannot access the WEB UI

Hello,

Is this AP on version 9.4 and above, if not I would recommend you to perform a hard reset on the unit to get access again and then upgrade to version 9.4 or above, once this is done, kindly SSH into the AP using putty and execute the below commands:

rkscli: set interface type vlan-trunk untag
OK
rkscli: set ipaddr wan vlan
Ok
rkscli: reboot

The above command sets the untag VLAN and the management VLAN, once this is done connect the AP to a trunk port on the switch allowing the native VLAN and the VLAN's that you would want to allow.

thank you. by upgrading it to the recent firmware release i manage to make it work now.
