Can anyone point me to the 9.10.2.0.11 release notes? The link on here https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/876-zd1100-9-10-2-0-11-mr-software-release points to the 9.10 GA release notes, not 9.10.2 specifically. This is a common problem with the Ruckus sites... the links are often wrong on "day one" but then eventually get fixed.

As I said in the Announcement, we are waiting on final Release Notes.
The link will be correct when I get the official documents.  Thanks.

No, I broke my own policy by posting FW before RNs, but the need was so great...

Is there any reason the ZoneDirector 1106 recommends 9.8.3.0.14 when there are multiple newer versions?  I'd really like to take advantage of the newest versions if possible.

Good question, and you certainly may consider your options.
The 9.8.x version is "recommended" as the last best platform for the oldest APs still under support.
New model AP support, and new features/functions are good reasons to consider newer ZD versions.
Always review the newer version Release Notes to insure compatibility with your ZD/AP models.

Thanks for the clarification.  I've been eyeing the latest versions for a while, and have made sure we're compatible across our access points.

Have you guys noticed a significant stress on older hardware with these newer firmware versions?  I can't help but feel like I'll tax the 128MB/600MHz specs on this unit with any significant feature upgrade.

Personally I found that the 9.10.x series helped A TON for 802.11ac performance/reliability, though for the 7982 I thought 9.8.3 was perfectly fine. I do feel like the 9.9/9.10 series made the web UI slower on the ZD1100 compared to 9.8.

So, if you don't have any AC AP's, 9.8.3 probably is still a good recommendation.

I upgraded to 9.10.2 MR overnight, and all appears to be well. Windows 10 provisioning works now. That's rather a big relief.

I'm not sure if this is a 9.10.2 thing or if it worked like this before, but the provisioning process is a lot cleaner/intuitive for non-tech people. When I connected to the provisioning SSID, it took me IMMEDIATELY to the signin page for the download (users used to need to try to get to a www website before being redirected to the signin page). Then, when I signed in, the download started immediately (users used to have to click to download). Then, when I ran the installer, it connected my laptop immediately to the appropriate SSID (previously, at least some users had to connect to that SSID manually). Small touches, but nice.
I'm curious of I simply missed these small improvements before, or if it's because of the provisioning being more intuitive because Windows 10 works better with it.

Upgraded to 9.10.2.0 build11 on Friday. Seems good.
Monday morning my ZD now recognises iOS again!

from release notes:
• Client Fingerprinting now properly recognizes iOS 9 clients. [ZF-14502]

Means I can reapply Device Access Policy after a long hiatus.

Yes! Thank goodness. The incorrect identification of iOS 9 devices was a major headache for us.

Seems that Zero IT still does not work with android 5 and 9.10.2.0 ... "application not installed".
Has anyone tried?

Hi Everyone

I have  ZD3000 with 20 of  zf7962.  Very simple setup with just two WLAN, no fancy services running.  I currently have 9.8.3.0 build 14 installed.   Would upgrading to the latest firmware break things given we are not running a complicated setup with huge number of WLANs.

Anyone had any experience with this?
