Not able to connect to SZ144...

Hi All,

I have a new SZ144.  I have followed the instructions in the SZ144 Quick Setup Guide, https://ruckus-support.s3.amazonaws.com/private/documents/3371/SZ144-QSG-800-72467-001-RevB.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAJM3QLNNKLOV235TQ&Expires=1604595180&Signature=QAZZDj8oArRqCUckaYvNmUy%2Bfb8%3D .  When I enter the IP address and port number, I get page not found error.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi John,

Could you confirm if you are able to ping the controller's IP address (default IP if it is not yet connected to network with DHCP, or, DHCP IP).

If yes, could you try SSH into the IP and see if you get login prompt.

Hi Syamantak,


I had a very long session with support yesterday and were able to get it working.  It looks like the SZ144 had a partial config on the system.  After doing a set-factory from the CLI, we were able to get to the GUI to do the setup.

Reason could be that at the end of configuration browser was closed before SZ provisioning was completed. It can take a few minutes, and closing page interrupts the process.
