lost SmartZone 100 Admin Password

As i lost GUI password,could you please help me how to recover Admin GUI password without resetting SZ.Even i dont have any backup configuration as well.

I believe if you open a support case they can unlock it for you.

Hi Abhijith,

I hope you are running 3.x firmware version, if yes then please get in touch with your local SE, they would be able to help you reset the password.

yes open case with support however they are asking to reset SZ. as this is for hotel and we have around 400 AP and dont want to loose existing configuration.

I have checked the case, seems like support team asked for the config backup.
To reset the admin password support team needs the config backup. If we do not have the config backup, then support cannot reset the admin password.

yes we dont have config backup. so is there any way to reset it from boot process ?

They should be able to unlock it without resetting the entire sz.

If support can't do it, then yes - you will have to reset the smartzone.

Hi Abhijit,

I think you have raised another support case 01051937 where support engineer requested you serial console access for SZ-100.

Since you are not sure if you are on 5.x or 3.x version, we could try resetting the password using console access.

Please arrange the serial console access and keep in touch with support engineer on case #01051937.

I have instructed the TSE about the procedure.
