AirCheck G2 Handheld Wireless Tester

We are starting to do a lot more WIFI deployments and I am thinking it's time to invest in to a WIFI testing tool.   Does anyone have experience with AirCheck G2 Handheld Wireless Tester or another tool like this they you are happy with?

Not used the G2 but have used the original Aircheck. They are a really handy tool to have as a tech. I would say more for troubleshooting than deployment though.

Ekahau is my tool of choice with regards designing and validating an installation. The spec an integration is also a big plus. Aircheck fits into the middle of that and allows you to quickly test a pre-defined set of parameters with just one click of a button. It also has some pretty neat displays regards certain metrics like bandwidth utilisation and wifi vs non wifi 'noise'.

What i would say is, work out what you want from the tool and then make your decision.

@robert how well it  Aircheck unit work with Ruckus?  Seams like it is geared for Cisco hardware.

It's built to test the 802.11 protocol stack, so it works with all vendors. There will always be additional functionality that the unit can test on a vendor to vendor basis.
