Yes., I tried with and another vendor and working fine the SFP modules. Most important is the speed should be equal

SFP module and on the switch sfp plugin should be on the same speed !GB or 10 GB depending on of the license which you are bought. I the true I have tried with TP-Link,  Trendnet and SP-01 brands and they working fine.

Hi Amjad,

Non-Ruckus optics are not blocked by the switch for use but will show in the config/logs as "unsupported".

I have successfully tested an HP 1Gb SFP in an ICX 10Gb SFP+ port however I had to manually set the port speed down to 1Gb to get the port to come up.
