Cannot get rid of Recover.me-xxxxxx

Hello.

Everything had been working fine until I had to replace the modem, same ISP.

I did hard resets; both with the reset button, an using putty.

I have internet access (laptop) when connected to the ICX 7150, or another switch connected to the ICX. But, no internet via ethernet on other rooms.

How can I get Configure.mr-xxxxxx to appear?

Power up the AP with the carrier disconnected, then factory default via cmd, then rebuild the AP.

then reconnect carrier.

Followed your suggestion, using both cmd and the factory reset procedure on the switch, but they did not reset to show Configure.me-xxxxx.

I configured the switch ip address thru cmd, but when I type it on the browser it does nothing. Am I missing something?

yes, bring it back to factory default.

i am trying to reconfigure the switch, so i need configure.me-xxxxx. but, it only broadcasts recover.me-xxxxx (i don't know the password).

i tried to change the ip address, so i can (at.least try to) configure it using putty. i lost the original ip address to open it in the web browser.

obviously, im no IT. haha

please me sure if you are using same subnet and IP class .

please see if your Radio wifi don't have static IP.

hello. the unit is ruckus icx 7150 c12p. what's a radio ruckus?

where do i find the subnet and ip class, and wifi static ip? i read that there should be an ip address on the box it came with, but i do not have that.

Thank you for all the help you guys did.

But it has been fixed.

Idiot me did not realize that the gateway is only a modem.

After installing a good router between that and the 7150, every connection it had recovered (even with all the resets I did).

Lesson learned for me.
