Not releasing IP address to the client from DHCP server and required to clear the binding database.

Hi,

sometimes the DHCP server configured in the core Switch ICX7650 is not providing the ip address to the clients and required to clear the binding database in the pool. often to execute the command to clear the binding and then clients are started getting ip address.

I think members using ICX and our official switch team members should be able to answer your queries but before that, please help with the below info.

- Current software version of the switch.

- Since when you are facing this issue? Any recent changes?

- What is the configuration of DHCP on the switch.

Facing this since last few months. now its required to clear the binding database daily. No recent changes.

ip dhcp-server pool 30
 excluded-address 192.168.30.1 192.168.30.50
 lease 0 6 0
 network 192.168.30.0 255.255.254.0
 option  3 ip 192.168.30.1
 option  6 ip 192.168.60.10  192.168.60.6

Hey Abdul, 

Is the DHCP table full? We support up to 500 DHCP bindings. You can use 'show ip dhcp-server binding' to check.
