ZoneFlex 7982 & Cisco 2960T/S POE problem

Hello,
We recently receive a new batch or ZoneFlex 7982 and they seem to be not possible to get power thru our Cisco Switches 2960-T os S model which were powering already older ZoneFlex 7982 models that we had purchase six months earlier..
We get a Power-3-controller-port-err, Power controller reports power Imax error detected, What should we do to resolve our problem?
THX

Best is to open a support case. https://support.ruckuswireless.com/co... so that we can isolate the root cause and offer a solution.

Is there a solution for this issue yet?

If you're seeing symptoms of poor/non-existent POE negotiation please open a support case so that we can troubleshoot the cause.

Also try powering your 7982s on every other (alternate) ports, and does that work?
How about 1 AP for each 4 ports? Some switch manufacturers use one power transceiver to power blocks of 4 ports. Spreading the power draw may help.

yes, AFAIK, new ZF7982 hardware addresses the POE incompatibility issues. this is well documented in release notes..
