Announcement: Finally! Some Community Guidelines...

As you might have noticed, the Ruckus Wireless Community is getting more oversight these days, and myself and Michael Brado have finally drafted some guidelines! You are all pretty amazing at following these, but it's good to write them down somewhere. Happy reading!

Ruckus Wireless Community Guidelines

Ruckus Wireless is a community of real (real smart!) people who are passionate about sharing and collaborating on answers, solutions, and ideas about the Ruckus products they love, or wish were better. We invite you to join the conversation, but we do have a few rules.

Keep it real...nice

We’re advocates for any type of collaboration that is in the spirit of good fun, so long as it doesn’t hurt other people. Please, no words or images that come at the expense of others. Be sensitive to other users around you. That said...professional critics have something to teach us: They foster healthy conversation and debate without ever attacking people personally. Think about that when responding to others, and ask yourself the question: Would you say it to their face?

Tell it like it is

We’re into transparency, honesty, and truth. Don’t misrepresent yourself or lie about your identity or affiliations. This community is based on the contributions of real people who put their reputations on the line. Be one of them. Ask tough questions and reward the candor of others.

Share the wealth

Make the community a richer place by sharing your experience and insight. You may have the perfect answer to someone else’s burning question, and this is how you give back to the community.

No sales!

It’s okay to talk up the products or services you love (or sell), but only if it’s relevant to the conversation. If you post a ton of links to your website and nothing else, your posts are likely to be removed by a moderator.

Can you keep a secret?

Make sure you have the right to publish any content you post to Ruckus Wireless, and don’t violate the privacy of others.

Don’t clone yourself

Don’t create multiple accounts to violate these guidelines, game the system, or harass and deceive other users.

i think your access to the site will be restricted for 24 hours, but there is no fixed time for the length of subsequent suspensions or suspensions for severe violations. We will consider appeals of indefinite suspensions based on our review of your conduct, account standing

No, access to the site can and will be permanently restricted/suspended for severe or repeat violations.

Athman is not a company employee, and his comment "We" will consider appeals... is false.

I am the Support site Admin and Forums moderator.

I have a SmartZone100 and want to add another for redundant, is any way to connect two ZD together? Is it supported?

Please post your question under SmartZone or ZoneDirector forum group?  The one you have SmartZone100, or ZoneDirector controller (they're different).
And please see the Admin Guides under Technical Documents for either/both products too.
