Topic: 2825 / 2111 / Slingbox SOLO and 2825/2111 Having “compatibility” issues with Slingbox SOLO and 2111 with 2825 AP. Do anyone know of issues and how to “correct”. The 2111 and 2825 are manually configured with VLAN turned off and using Data only. The Slingbox is appropriatley configured and the 2111 configured for home wireless network, etc. There are 3 other 2111 devices in use as well as wireless adapters and all work incredibly well. The issue is that the Slingbox and 2111 work fine on initial set up … they actually worked for 2 weeks straight before just freezing. After a lot of testing, I thought the issue was the Slingbox, so I returned it and got a new one … but now same issue. Can hook up and works for about 20 minutes and then freezes with the 2111 as the ehternet adapter. A direct connection of the Slingbox through the 2825 or external switch works fine. HELP ….... The Slingbox is great and the 2111 is the best adapter I have ever used in this kind of application, but they don’t seem to play well together and I can not figure out why. I have also contacted Sling Media but they don’t have any info on the Ruckus 2111 at this time. I told them that they should as it is the best wireless adapter for this kind of adapter for this application. |

Topic: 2825 / 2111 / Watching TV on Computer You should look into the Slingbox SOLO … just got one the other day and it is great. Using 2825 AP and 2111 with the sling box for wireless bridge. In house and over “local” network the quaility is really quite good. And the Ruckus 2825 and 2111 provide the best quality signal of any wireless that I have ever used (and that has been a lot) ... |

Topic: 2825 / 2111 / Bonjour for Windows - Nothing Shows That is too bad that there is so much emphasis on the IPTV market. I can get around the Bonjour issue without much pain … But the Ruckus 2825 and 2111 have been the best wireless products for quality signal that I have ever used. And I have used a lot of them. And that includes a D-Link DGL-4300 with a 1W external amplifier. The router and options were better with the DGL, but the Ruckus signal quality, stability and lack of any interference blows anything else away. I really think you guys are doing yourselves a diservice by not catering a little more to a consumer market. The install and set up need to be made more friendly, the documetnation needs work, and the price might be a little high, but these things just work, and in areas that I have never been able to get to work before. |

Topic: 2825 / 2111 / Bonjour for Windows - Nothing Shows To your replay above the answers are yes … All work fine when NOT using the 2111 and Bonjour. The ReadyNAS file and print server can be seen, pinged, addressed and accessed as normal. The printers can be accessed by creating a new “Local Port”, but they can not be seen at their respective IP addresses. This only happens with the 2111. If connected directly through ethernet or with another wireless client card, things are fine and seen in windows and Bonjour. |
