Has any one had any success getting a 2942 to power from a HP Procurve 2520 24 port Gigabit Switch. We seem to have two versions of the 2942 (different stickers on the bottom) one type powers okay via PoE from the procurve, the other does not.

I have tried updating the firmware on the AP, but they still dont work.

Any Ideas?

There’s a known problem with that switch and POE.

Strange how I have some that work and some that dont? Was there a revision change?
