Is second ethernet port bridged with eth1 on 2942 when managed by zonedirector? I have 2942 managed by ZoneDirector configured with management vlan. If second port on 2942 is bridged I worry that any device configured for VLAN2 (management vlan) can connect to my private LAN by connecting to eth2 on the AP. |

the same thing i have been concerned with… i mean a standalone AP has the capability to define Vlan to individual ports, but when connected to a ZD why does this useful feature vanishes? do we have solution for this? it has been heard that the new software release v9.0 has been on its way, (software release v9.0 features were disussed on the last webniar 25aug – unfortunately i missed this webniar), hope this new software release get us a solution. |
