When a 7962 associcates with on of two Zonedirectors and then switches to the other Zonedirector, the “Device Name” is returned to the default of RuckusAP and changes from the assinged name. Any reason why this would happen or how to prevent this?

When an AP connects to a different Zone Director it will get configured with the values configured in this Zone Director. Check the configuration of the Access Point in this second Zone Director and verify if the Device Name is set to what you desire.

AT this time there is no synchronization of configuration between a Zone Director and a fail over Zone Director.
