We have a prominent client based in the hospitality industry, HOTEL/APARTMENT who we manage of their Network Infrastructure. We are expanding our wifi solutions profile and are in the lookout of other cheaper solutions. I have been referred to a ruckus solution by folks in Melbourne, Australia.

My 1st query is inregards to Zone Directors:
1. Account Management & Generation – Does ZD support Client Login Page Customization (accordingly to business owners website) – Time & Bandwidth allotment to users and or profiles – Support for Mass account generation – Support Random username/password account Generation – Support for Receipt Printing of Created Accounts

2. Support for Portal Capture of Wired Clients off same lan segment. – ZD1000 -> SWITCH <-WIRED KIOS PC (DHCP from ZD1000? Captive PORTAL???

My 2nd query stems to the ZF2942 & ZF2925:
1. Ability to be managed singly/independently without Zone Director? – If the ZD Captive Portal & user accounts management isn’t intune with our requirements, we would like to use our own Internet Server Gateway Portal. Will there be proprietry functions of the AP that will hinder this? – Are the so called intelligent Beam flexing plus autoselect rf power & channel selection supported without the intervention of a Zone Director?
