Hello, i have a simple question. i have a zoneflex 2925 in the center of the building and added a 2925 LMG to extend the range, is it possible to extend the range with another 2925 LMG behind the existing 2925 LMF? old situation DSL New situation DSL greetings Adriaan |

Adriaan, the LMG will only connect to a wired AP, so an LMG will not connect to another LMG. In other words, we only support one (1) hop with Lite Mesh. Ruckus Support |

Adriaan, the wireless clients connecting to the LMG and wired clients connecting to the LMG’s Ethernet port are “on the same side”. The product was designed to forward all the user traffic wirelessly to the upstream AP. What you are trying to do is this: AP))) ((([up]LMG1[down]))) (((Clients As you can see, LMG2 has no upstream (wireless) connection. I beleive it will be easier to connect a standard 2925 (not the LMG flavor) to the wired port of LMG1. Be aware this is all experimental and is certainly not a standard recommendation. We will be releasing our Full Mesh implementation in the near future which allows multiple hops between the wired AP and the Mesh APs. My advice is to wait for that. Ruckus Support |
