The client needs to connect to an <span class="caps">SSID</span> which has been configured on the ZD as &#8216;Method = 802.1x <span class="caps">EAP</span>&#8217; and &#8216;Authentication server = your AD server&#8217;. You can test your authentication settings under Configure&#8212;&gt; Authentication servers.</p> <p>If that works fine, power up your windows XP client, scan for the <span class="caps">SSID</span> you configured above, connect to the <span class="caps">SSID</span> and Windows should be smart enough to figure out this is an 802.1x <span class="caps">SSID</span>. The rest is standard WinXP 802.1x configuration, so specify the Authentication parameters under the wireless card properties. Select the correct <span class="caps">EAP</span> type, hit the Properties button and configure the CA (if any), and the Authentication Method (eg MSCHAPv2).
