Hello support and members.
I am located in an apt within 300 ft of the MetroFi PDX AP. I need a device that can connect to the AP, boost the signal and wirelessly transmit it in the apt so I can connect with my laptops. Are there any (Ruckus) devices that have demonstrated success with MetroFi PDX??

Another question – since 2211 DZ has been discontinued but is still available online quite cheap, what are the advantages of the 2211 NG over its predecessor?

thanks,

ignoramus, Do you know which Metro (outdoors) AP MetroFi is using? If you can tell me the brand/type, I can tell you if we have tested our gear against it.

The NG provides the same features on the end user side as the legacy 2211. One of the improvements is LAN routing is available even if the WAN/Metro side is down. The major improvements are on the WISP side, with added features like L2TP, preferred/locked BSSID, etc.
