Ruckus has had several of interviews this year with the press regarding future 802.11n strategy and several links on the technology page and blog pages regarding 802.11n:

I would be interested in knowing the time frame when we can expect more information from Ruckus about future 802.11n products. I’m not asking for product release dates but the next phase of pre-release information regarding the product lineup, expected capabilities and implementation methodology supported by Ruckus.

In particular I’m interested when an AP like the Ruckus 2942 with 802.11n and Gigabit LAN will be discussed. I would also like to know (as hinted to in the the posts so far) if Ruckus is going to start delivering multi radio products and covering multiple parts of the 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz spectrum and not just the time sliced BSSID capabilities it has in today’s products.

I’ve been disappointed in other vendors pre-N products and like the Ruckus commitment to simple products with fast and stable throughput (even if they don’t have the highest peak bandwidth) in it’s existing 802.11g product line. The absence of a defined strategy makes it hard to wait or plan for future capabilities from Ruckus.

Fritz, As a general rule of thumb we do not discuss future products through the Forum. Please send us your contact details (telephone number) and we can discuss this topic with you.
