I have a Ruckus 2211 -DZ that was used in a metro location that I am not longer in. I attempted to hook it up to my home linksys wirless router and use it in DZ mode for mu upstairs. Some how it has connceted to my linksys and I can access it if I plug into the ethernet port, but I can not longer get to the configuration at 192.168.1.1. I changed my linksys to 192.168.2.1 to eliminate the conflict but still am unable to get into the Ruckus anymore.

I have reset it, powered it off and on and done everything I can think of to no avail. I have tried multiple laptops and still nothing. Any thoughts?

MauiBob, are you using the 2211 as a Range extender (= Bridge mode) as indicated in an earlier post, or truly as a Dual Zone AP (= Route mode)?

If you are running the 2211 in Bridge mode, then the 2211 will by default receive an IP address from the upstream DHCP server, in your case the Linksys. You can assign a static IP address to the 2211 in Bridge mode (under Configuration > System), which makes managing the device easier. Make sure you assign a static IP address outside of the IP Address Pool of the Linksys.
