Does anyone know if there are plans to change the “WAN-dead LAN-dead” feature (2211 FAQ #65) so that if the WAN dies the LAN can still function?

I don’t want to complain, but my Metro Wi-Fi AP is very flakey at times, causing my LAN to go down at critical times (to me, anyway). I’d rather not go through the hassle of bridging to a router.
