Hey …

… it really worked!!! I don’t know what caused the problem but I have successfully established the IPTV connection again. :)

Thank You very much for fast reply!

Best regards,

No connection between Ruckus adapters replied by support @ Wed, 04 Apr 2007 16:05:10 -0000

Hello Gregor,

What I can suggest is that you factory reset your 2501 and auto-provision it with the 2900. To factory reset the 2501, with the unit powered on, insert a paper clip into the reset button on the back of the device, and hold for 8 seconds. To auto provision, connect an Ethernet cable directly between 2900 and 2501. The auto provisioning will take about 30 seconds. When auto provisioning is done, the Dome Light will be off. After auto provision, reboot the 2501.

Kind Regards,

No connection between Ruckus adapters replied by Gregor @ Tue, 03 Apr 2007 23:57:11 -0000

Hello,

I’m using Ruckus MF2900 and MF2501 (both S/W version: 3.3.0-1390) for about 10 months now for IPTV at approximately 10 meters distance. More or less without troubles; now and then I had to restart the connection between them (reboot or disconnect the power adapter etc.) because they just couldn’t find each other respectively the LED light for Air Quality was flashing.

But since yesterday the set top box can’t retrieve any data from modem via Ruckus wireless network (Error: no data could be fetched for this URL (011)). I tried the regular procedure when experiencing troubles with adapters (unplugging the power adapter, rebooting the adapters and modem, and then unplugging the power adapter from set top box and from the modem etc.) but without success. The Air Quality LED light is flashing constantly though they are just a few centimeters apart (more accurately; MF2900 1. Power: green, 2. LAN: steady green 3. Wireless: flashing green, 4. Air Quality: flashing rapidly green; MF2501 1. Power: green, 2. LAN: steady green 3. Wireless: off, 4. Air Quality: flashing slowly green).

There are no problems with IPTV, if the set top box is connected directly to modem and the Ethernet cables are working fine.

I can also access to both adapters on my PC via Ethernet cable.

My connection: VDSL Modem SmartCom SVM 104, CAT5 Ethernet Cable, Ruckus MF2900, wireless connection, Ruckus MF 2501, CAT5 Ethernet Cable, Set top box Amino AmiNET 110, TV

Thank You for your help!
