I have just bought a mediaflex 2900 AP. We are trying to broadcast video using the wifi AP. To that end, we are using the following testbed: 1- One PC is connected to the ethernet plug of the 2900 AP (IP 192.168.0.100) 2- One laptop is used as a receiver and is conected to the AP by the wireless connection (IP 192.168.0.120) 3- In the PC we start vlc, and we are transmiting a multicast udp stream using the 230.0.0.1 multicast address 4- The laptop is listening to that multicast address

It seems that no multicast packets arrive to the laptop (this fact is confirmed using ethereal)

If upd unicast is used, transmission is achieved with out problems.

Is there any trick to set up multicast transmissions?
