hello, i’m using the mf2900 to connect from my router to my PVR with a network connection to stream videos across the network. works fine! i also have a slingbox to stream TV signal over the home network and internet. in order to use the same connection to the internet i have connected the mf2500 wit a switch (netgear) and the connect my PVR and the slingbox as well to the switch. this will not work – i can only get one device working (either/or) not both at the same time. my question: does the mf2500 not work on a switch with several devices and if so what would be the solution.

You should be connecting PVR, slingbox on the 2900 AP side. 2501 adapter is just a receiver.
